I have gotten a number of emails from you guys thanking us for moving to WordPress. A lot of you know it. Some of you know it well.
Some of you know the plugin architecture. Some of you can probably dream up very cool toys.
For example (yeah, this is one I really want):
Imagine having users insert into their profile the city and state they live in.
Then imagine every user from each state being able to see who else is from their state, arranged by city.
The extra cool features could go from there.
Yes, we are serious about building an army of activists in each state. Are you?

“Victory comes, though we know not when. We must be happy warriors until the end.
For those of you who struggle with what goes on, who see retreat and capitulation, and who feel like not just your political opponents, but those who hold dear all those things you hold as blasphemous — be cheerful. Be happy. Victory is already yours.
You must just have the courage to not get discouraged and have the will to fight on.” – Erick Erickson at RightOnline
Yes, sir.

A year ago I was pumped up about this
Neil Stevens Thursday, December 4th at 8:43PM EST (link)I thought RS 3 was the ticket to letting us build community.
Then keeping RS 3 going sucked up all the time I’d otherwise put into building community.
But now… heh. We’re still building up some of the fluff, but this space station is armed and fully operational.
Want to run for conservatives? Give.

RS4 is certain to help the community grow. Thanks for everything you do, Neil!

I think it is great

Since the election I’ve wanted to do something, anything at the local level to boost Conservatism, but struggled with what that could be. This could give me that answer.
I also told my husband just recently that we need more Conservative friends. I know you’re not planning a social network, but that would be an added benefit.

State Activists
Scope Friday, December 5th at 7:24AM EST (link)Erick- When you did the article on Georgia being a pilot project for state activists a few days ago, I wondered if Redstate could do the same for all states. Many here don’t know where each other lives. We could be commenting with our neighbors and not know it. I think that listing what areas the commentors are from would be very helpful, as more can be done on the ground with groups of people, rather than trying to be a lone single voice in the wilderness. While blogging is very important, knocking on doors, or addressing envelopes is just as important. Here in VA, a new site just went up less than a week ago, RPV Networking, and they already crossed the 200 member mark. Republicans are engaged, and have learned that we need to get off our butts if we ever hope to take the White House and Congress back into sanity.
Thank you to all of you for all you are doing. Redstate is my first stop every morning.
